This beautiful home sat atop the highest point in Greene County, Missouri. The air was thick with a hazy humidity native to the midwest, calm surrounded the property as Jade and Jimmy prepared the final details. This house is special to Jade as her parents were wed under the tree that shades the front yard 25 years ago on the same Labor Day weekend. The room where she climbed into her wedding dress was her childhood bedroom and you could feel how special this day was to her parents as they were so beautifully honored by their only daughter. Jimmy was cheerful and excited, but very serious and ready to behold his bride and when his eyes finally rested on her, he exclaimed, “You look so beautiful! Wow! This is better than I expected!” and then I melted into a pool of tears. I’ll let the photos do the rest of the talking…
